TEEN EVENT COMING!!
June 29 at 11:30 we are having our first Lunch @ the Library for 2010 at Chippewa. It's PIRATE FLAG DAY. Come dresses as a pirate, if you dare :). We will learn about the meaning behind the different images seen in pirate flags, have lunch (you bring it) and DESSERT (we provide it) and make our own pirate flag, as well as socializing. See you then!

HEY!! Today was the first Lunch @ the Library for Summer 2010 and it was GREAT! SEVEN teens turned out to Make Waves by making their own pirate flags. I must say that they were very creative :)
ReplyDeleteOf course there was ice cream with CARAMEL (everyone's favorite, right?) but everyone held off until AFTER they finished their treasure boxes, which was the second craft.
I was so happy to see everyone again, it's been a long winter without any teen programs to keep us together. Hopefully next fall we can have some Saturday events, since I am now working Saturdays instead of Sundays. Post a comment here about what you thought of our Lunch!
